Hosted by the Emory SF Bay Area Network and the Emory DC Politics & Policy Network, please join Emory faculty and alumni as we discuss the upcoming 2021 State of the Union Address in February.
You will hear from Board members Josh Jackson 19L, Nicole Goetz 13Ox 14C, and Toni-Moi Prince 05C, along with Dr. Gonzalo Maturana from the Goizueta Business School, about expectations for the address and analysis of what the speech signals for policy priorities and the critical first 100 days of the administration.

Emory Explores: Careers in Legislative Politics Panel

Join current Emory students, the Emory Career Center, and the Emory DC Politics & Policy Network for a panel discussion on careers in legislative politics at the state and federal levels.
Alumni panelists will share their own experiences on finding work and navigating the job search process in legislative roles, along with discussion of the work itself, its benefits, and pitfalls. Panelists can also share their words of wisdom for those pursuing this employment path, including the types of work experiences or internship they can do to build a resume that will qualify them for these roles as well as tips and strategies for networking that will help open doors along the way.
